BtS: The Thing Twins

Part 4 of "Behind the Seuss. "

The infamous duo of blue-haired twins, Thing 1 & Thing 2, were about to go into their dressing room.
Until they discovered the actors who were playing them in the live-action movie, and they just scared from out of the bloom.

Here I sort of upgrade the Things looks from this previous picture, [link].
I gave them clearer hair-styles, brighter colors, bangs (to tell them apart) and cuter faces.

And judging by the eye-popping wild outtake, I also gave Tex Avery-que personalities and antics.


The reasons why they look very scared of their live-action counter-parts is;

1. It represents how everyone reacted when they saw the live-action Thing 1 & Thing 2. They actually were about as scary looking as the live-action Whos from "The Grinch."

2. This comic is inspired by the scene from the Rocko's Modern Life episode, "Cruisin' ." Where Heffer almost got abducted by aliens that look just like him.
But they both scared each other to death, and Heffer claimed the aliens to be "hideous" (despite he looks the same as they are ) .

Unlike the scene, the live-action Things look nothing like the original ones, and they were actually females (with Dan Castellaneta doing the voice-overs).
